Share your voice, Newt's all ears!

At the Newt, we're looking for bold, creative ideas from students! Whether it’s a blurb or something you’d like to polish and share, we’re here to listen!

Psst, the boring (but very important) guidelines:

If you wanna send in your work to the Newt, here's a tiny little guide to questions you might have:

So… what can I write about? General topics for submissions include (but are not limited to): local news on and off campus, local guides for international students, art analysis, cultural awareness, interviews, book reviews, film reviews, literary pieces, notice of club collaborations and/or events!

Is there a limit to submissions? Nope! You can submit as many times as you wish.

Where do I submit? Submit your work by emailing us at dc.journalismclub@acg.edu!

Who can submit/publish? The mag is targeted at ACG students, thus anyone studying at the institution is welcome!

Is there a deadline? We release new articles each Wednesday, but we’re no mandatory course - there’s no deadline!

What do I need to do before submitting? Before submitting your work, please read and familiarize yourself with the ACG Journalism Club guidelines. You’ll find them just below this section!

Uh oh, I'm a little puzzled with my piece (pun intended), what do I do? Don’t fret, we’re here for you! If there’s any uncertainty whether your topic and handling of it are appropriate, make sure to ask for clarification! You can email the club or a club member individually to ask questions, or you can come to one of our meetings: every Wednesday at 14:30, in DC classroom 513.

If you’re interested in becoming a member make sure to reach out to us to join the club's mailing list where we announce meetings, assemblies, and other events!
